The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the transfer of the next batch of modern fifth-generation Su-57 fighters to combat units of the Aerospace Forces (VKS). These high-tech combat vehicles are designed to perform the most difficult combat tasks, including gaining air superiority, destroying ground targets and conducting electronic warfare. In addition to the Su-57, the troops received new fighters of the 4++ Su-35S generation, which also significantly strengthens the capabilities of the Russian army in air operations. Alongside the latest Su-57 delivery there has been a Su-35 delivery as well, unfortunately no details of any kind have been released. Wonder why, perhaps because the latest Su-35 lot might have the (apparently) DIRCM installation we saw recently?

According to Ukrainian sources, the Su-30SM, which was part of the Russian Naval Aviation, was shot down while attempting to attack an oil platform in the Black Sea. The successful strike, using an undisclosed type of man-portable air defense system or MANPADS, was reportedly carried out by Ukrainian special forces from the Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR).

A Russian Telegram channel, "Fighterbomber," has also confirmed the loss of the Su-30SM over the Black Sea, with Russian reports claiming the aircraft's crew was killed in the incident.The pro-Russian Telegram channel Rybar suggests that the Flanker may have been shot down during what it describes as a Ukrainian attempt to seize the Krym-2 oil platform. Unconfirmed reports indicate that a Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone was used to monitor the engagement.

I checked on the Su-30 wikipedia article and at the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian the Russian airforce had 91 Su-30SM Flanker-Hs but has since lost about 12 (That are verifiable) so far.

National Interest is a _source_? This crapbarn just reposted Fighterbomber telegram news which is reliable if it deals with losses.
 
Recent post from said FB denies that Su-34 was shot, particularly F-16. By wording it either malfunction or pilot error.
 
That suchomimus guy is pretty flagrant stuff. Just saying it would be like posting some Russian telegram guy with his hot takes thrown in the mix.

In current conditions, sraam shot down has to be very seriously proven.

Otherwise its likelihood is just next to a gun kill, in the realm of deep improbability. MRAAMs aren't doing much for last two years, and now it's WVR missile.
 
Well there's a dead plane and a dead crew, which isn't very normal for a technical malfunction at the altitude one would drop glide bombs from.

And the F-16 leisurely flying WVR at 30.000 feet right over the combat zone isn't exactly the likeliest reason for it. Just one of those crushing in an accident (apparently not even an FF accident) was enough to bring down the head of the PSU.

Furthermore, and more importantly, Ukraine didn't claim it in the first place. Only ... questionable (mildly) telegram channels with no track records did.

Thus, unless proven otherwise, the answer is no clear answer.
 
It's not that unlikely, a SAM TEL has to put itself in harm's way to get near the front. SAM TELs have been like fish in a barrel for MLRS. It's also a proven fact that F-16s (and other aircraft) have been able to get close enough to the front to drop glide bombs. It's also a proven fact that Russia lost an Su-34 and crew.

Please kindly provide those proofs :)
Because I only saw them for other aircraft.

Also, getting close to FLOT at treetop is not exactly same as getting over FLET at altitude.
