Interesting idea, however if I understand correctly, in you scheme the control surface seems to be in the middle of the plane, and no such device is visible on the J-36. What seens to be going on imo, is they redirect the leading edgewise airflow/vortices to the side by opening those angled splitter plates

Apologies if I misread what you meant, but in that case, can you explain how the scheme you mentioned works?
Obviously it's a CG cause the real aircraft‘s main landing gears have a small tilt angle rather than para with the fuselageInteresting. From the snippet that was posted it looked like a real photo zoomed in.
CGDid anyone post this? Though I am not sure if it is CGI... This shows it has leading edge flaps
