Shadow on The Wall - Work in Progress by Jozef Gatial

I used mapped picture on global sphere in PovRay. But when you fly over the clouds it is better solution layer of 3D clouds. Attached CL-400's video I will try in future rebuild due to missed clouds and real atmosphere. Problem was probably in non real size of CL-400 models. I'm learning

on drawings of Fairchild Republic F-15 ( FX) on inner side of engines it is detail not visible on models of it. Do you have more infos?

Cool! We definitely need to see more renderings of the Republic FX submission.

Aesthetically speaking there's something a bit sukhoi about it. Maybe how the Flanker might have turned out as a super-Flagon.

Great mideling skills

Could possibly be some kind of sensors? Guns? Cooling intakes? Not sure we can resolve without new drawings.

Time left: 244 hours

These clouds are 3D ? Looks good !
But 244 hours !! Wow…
Dunno what could be that fairing on the Republic FX, Maybe engine accessories box fairing ?
What's strikes me is that the very front of the wing strakes seems to be air intakes.

Another project, "product-55 518", rather like a future realizovannyjMiG-31. The plane was to carry four missiles r-33 under the fuselage, had a two-wheeled cart main landing gear with tandem wheel arrangement. Keystone wing was supposed to perform with big root Burl and turned the back edge. Work on the "product-518 55" not advanced beyond the schematic design.

NICE! That design makes me think of the "parasol" wings that were looked at at one point.

It is eight years what our friend elider ask me to create model and some pictures of Convair Kingfish and he sponsored it, too. Now I started work on 3D printed model of Kingfish and when it will be closed I would like send it to elider because he wasn't very satisfied with his two scratchbuilds. Can you pls help me with contact on elider?

after experiences on more 3D printers prefered thickeness for models in scale 1/72 is 1 mm, min. thickeness of sharp edges is 0.3 mm. For scale 1/48 I rescale 3D model 1.5x. Thickeness of parts is 1.5 mm but on non critical parts I take from material to 1 mm.

Small progress
