From my collection, Chris Moore's cover to the 1996 novel 'Agent of Destruction' by Rutland Etheridge, the first in the two book 'Agent of...' series, a sequel 'Agent of Chaos' also with a cover by Christ Moore appeared the following year. I currently do not have a copy of the latter book.

I would really prefer for this particular nook/cranny to be constrained/restricted to *hard* SF, but it appears the lightsailship has already left the safe harbor, so...
 
From my collection, the cover by an unknown artist for 1987's novel 'Sundipper' by Paul B. Thompson, an author more well known for his association with TSR when that company tried to launch a non-DnD fiction line.

STAR DATE was the periodical of FASA, the roleplaying company behind BattleTech, the Star Trek RPG, and in the early days some very nice Traveller RPG products.

ah one from my childhood. The Childrens Film Foundation made a few really good little films. For period, this ones up there with Jeremy Kemp on Jackanory doing Jan Mark's 'Thunder & Lightnings' :)
