Cutaway Colani-Schulze CCE 208 "Cormoran", Speculative interpretation of the Cormoran light aircraft concept, this would be powered by a brand new Porsche engine, the PFM 3.2 Liters, modified for aeronautical use by the German firm, both Colani an extravagant designer with proposals using the design concept that he called "Biodynamics" inspired by nature, together with the aeronautical engineer Walter Schulze who is co-author of the design that took it to a degree that its engineering had technical viability, Colani had proposals for very unorthodox propellers so we can see two designs, one with a complex propulsion propeller concept and the one I am dealing with used a more conventional three-blade one. , beyond the diatribe of whether it would fly or not, it is an exercise in style and avant-garde and inspiring proposals to dream and create. In fact, here is this interpretation of the Cormoran as a small tribute to the genius of Colani as an artist and of Sculze as an engineer who "enables" the artist's ideas. Motocar

Cutaway Colani Schulze CCE 208 Electric FAN, Reinterpretation of the Cormoran now with electric power plant and energy supplied by batteries, both sets of electric FAN have two engines and efficient "Cimatarra" ducted propellers, both placed behind the cabin in a high position at medium altitude drift, this avoids the problems of the high thrust line of the original project and its performance problems, conceptual author of the modification by Motocar and carried out to visualize the proposed changes.

Repost from another thread

Greetings blairpilot and thanks for reminding me of this work in progress... I have it on my to-do list due to the lack of data on the landing gear kinematics and the lack of some digital tools that will help me finish it soon, for now I'll share how it's going...! Motocar

Post data is a purely speculative work

Greetings, I wanted to know if any friend of this topic could have information about the position of the engine in the fuselage of the Mach Buster, it turns out that the location where I initially placed it is the same space as the landing gear, being right in the center with folding retraction that has more space, for this reason I think that the V-8 engine would be placed further back... But this new location brings problems with the center of gravity, the fuel tank located in the center with the weight of the cabin forward to balance the weights...! I hope someone could help me with certain data even if it is a drawing facsimile. Thanks in advance Motocar

Thanks to the new information obtained from watching the video I have decided to postpone the completion of the schematic cut, I must completely rethink it and dedicate time to each component already seen separately, as I had imagined it had a mixed construction between tubular and monocoque, all in metal, very thin wings also aluminum structure, it turns out that it was planned to equip it with light Martin Baker seats hence it has a solid metal structure in each position, with rails and everything, its canopy was laterally opening towards the port, its landing gear quite complex and the propeller drive shaft of automotive derivative. This height is very necessary to recreate something worth the work and to remove good faith criticism. It is necessary to draw many components separately guided by captures of the video but it is worth the effort. Greetings Motocar
