Scott Manley has just put out new deep space updates video for 2025 including will BO's New Glenn first flight be the first big launch of 2025:

2024 ended as another record year in spaceflight with launches every day and a half, and less than a week into the year we're looking at the two largest rockets in the world launching within days, or even hours of each other.

Views of New Glenn standing vertical at LC-36 earlier this evening, ahead of its maiden voyage as early as Sunday. There are high hopes for a successful booster recovery downrange after delivering its upper stage and the Blue Ring pathfinder on a trajectory to orbit.

Scott Manley has put out a new video concerning the New Glenn:

After almost 25 years Blue Origin is finally ready to launch their first orbital class rocket - New Glenn - and it's a monster rocket that would surely be getting lots of people talking about just how big it was, if it wasn't a lot smaller than SpaceX's starship.
While Blue Origin think this first flight has a high chance of success there's inevitably the question of whether it'll be relevant in a future where SpaceX can offer 100% reusable spaceflight via Starship. Are Blue Origin only going to compete with SpaceX's best products from last decade?
