Reuters had a big article on how the pagers worked on the 16th.

Seems the Mossad created false videos, people who claimed to know those batteries, extra websites, a full cover legend for the operation.

I would like to buy the creators of this operation a beer/beverage of their choice!

In french "sinwar" is written "sinouar". And it sounds like "si noir" : which translates as "so black" and "so dark". And thus, behold...

"Sinouar était son âme, il a atterri direct en enfer."

"So dark was his soul, he directly landed in Hell."
Ah, I see the French sense of humor is still in practice. Like calling ISIL by their Arabic acronym "Daesh" which apparently translates to "bad thieves"

There was this French poster on another board who about eight or nine years ago started referring ISIS and ISIL as The WAhhabi Terrorist Syndicate or TWATS for short;):D.

The IDF Signal Corps Memorial and Museum lists indigenous pagers, even encrypted ones. This suggests Israel's long-standing expertise on the matter.

With the reference to the September beeper and walkie talkies attacks in Lebanon, there are unconfirmed reports circulating on SM about similar explosions of beepers and walkie talkies used by the Syrian Arab Army during the clashes with the HTS/ISIS militants in the Aleppo area today.

The 25th SF Division (Tiger Forces) of the SAA is known to use, inter alia, Hytera DMR encrypted radio gear. The 4th Armored Division of the SAA under Maj-Gen Maher al Asad probably uses more heavy-duty military commo gear, hence is less vulnerable to such supply chain attacks like the ones in Lebanon in September.

More information is surfacing on yesterday's walkie-talkie attacks near Aleppo. There are also reports on heavy electronic warfare in the area.

The above photo circulates on sm. It's not sharp, alas. If I'm not mistaken, the walkie-talkie seems to be a cheap Chinese set.

This is why you want a dumbphone not a smartphone, something that only does phone-calls and maybe texting but is otherwise too simple to host spyware.

Probably a copy cat here with Russian General assassination:

Highly debatable. It can be argued that the Beeper operation actually saved lives. Bombing the Hezbollah to reach a similar effect would have seriously aggravated the number of casualties among Lebanon civilians.
Gee, I admire your poise and balance slowly sliding down that slippery slope there - I couldn't emulate that move, because I have a hard stop at "First, Do No Harm"...

It seems that TWZ has done a report as well .....

In the last paragraphs :

As to the question of what Mossad does next, we can only guess. But what is clear is that the exploding walkie-talkies and pagers are very unlikely to be attempted again.

“We can’t use the pagers again because we already did that,” Michael told CBS. “We’ve already moved on to the next thing. And they’ll have to keep on trying to guess what the next thing is.”

I hope there will be peace, and I would never need to find out ....

Considering the fake YouTube ads for pagers to get the Lebanese Hezbollah to buy them one may wonder who exactly paid for them? And if there is any real investigation into the September pager attacks anywhere, have the investigators requested such data?

Interesting. In some people's mind it is much more important to investigate the defenders who work to rid the world of terrorists, rather than to investigate the terrorists and their backers. In most of the world, though, it is usually the other way around.

Everybody can choose their side.

It's interesting to see how the world is being dismantled due to the lack of respect of the rule of law, and international and domestic law, and that there are therefore calls to lower below the level of the terrorists. Not to mention that there are instances, when renowned terrorists, who had pricey bounty on their head, are being backed by those who claim they are fighting terrorists.
