SpaceX have filed a request with the FCC to operate Starlink terminals / antennas on the Super Heavy and Starship that will be performing the orbital flight; of note is that the requested period of operation is August 1st through to October 1st, indication SpaceX's current planned window for the orbital flight (of course it could easily slip beyond this window and SpaceX could just file for an extension / renewal).

They're going to have to come up with a robust solution to the heating issue if they ever want the DoD to sign on. Can't be in the middle of Dirtopia and have your network go offline.

Today’s Transporter 2 launch was scrubbed due to an aircraft entering the keep out area.

From "Liftoff" by Eric Berger. At the beginning of Chapter 10. Flight Four: After three failures of Falcon 1 and on the eve of the make orbit or die flight four:

"SpaceX would not be a real rocket company until it reached orbit."

Technically speaking, UAVs in the MALE category and higher are expendable aircraft, albeit unmanned ones. Not to mention things like large target drones such as the QF-16.

That is a look into Elon Musk Mind set

He move to new home to Texas in Boca Chica Village
and how much cost this new residence for a Superrich ?

to compare

Mukesh Ambani - Mumbai skyscraper $ 1 BILLION !
Jeff Bezos - Warner estate $175 Million (one of four in total $500 million)
Jack Ma - Hong Kong Estate $ 164 Million
Bill Gates - Residence $154 million
Sir Richard Branson - own Necker Island (oh by the way you can rent it for US$102,500 per day)
Elon Musk - Boxabl Prefab Residence $50000

You read right
by way he sold his $35 Million masion in California after moving to Texas

Not sure Grimes will appreciate :p (I'm thinking about that scene in The Right Stuff where Gordo and his very tolerant if not blasé wife discover their new home at Edwards and she goes "UUUHHH the horror" only for a F-100 to crash and kill its pilot as a "welcome" to improve her morale... )

DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE ANNOUNCES FOURTH VANGUARD PROGRAM

It may be time to create a separate topic for the 'Rocket Cargo' program?

I took a look at what's know for the proposed marginal-orbit trajectory for the Starship/Super Heavy test flight. I came up with an OK fit with an orbit that is about 70 x 860 km x 26.4 deg. The relatively high apogee is needed to accomodate a low perigee and the range to HI

Here's some plots of the assumed trajectory superimposed on GoogleEarth:

(Launch date of 0000 UTC Aug 1 is obviously arbitrary. Doubt it will be that soon!)

Some Inspiration 4 the Fourth of July Dizzy symbol
I saw the new cupola for the Inspiration 4 crew, and it's amazing IRL. Closest analog was Collins' standing EVA — “I think nirvana must be at an altitude of 250 miles. This is the best view of the universe that a human has ever had." 5x50

My worksheet from altitude chamber training. Can you tell when the hypoxia kicked in?? My O2 sat dropped to the 30s and my math skills declined as well

#Inspiration4 Mission Pilot @DrSianProctor and Mission Commander @rookisaacman sat on console at SpaceX’s headquarters in Hawthorne, CA, during last week’s Transporter-2 mission.

The same mission control will be used to monitor our crew’s journey in space this September.

Securing platform for a vehicle at rest?

It seems that the structure is built to transfer flexural loads from the bolt plates that you can see inside facing the great axis of the structure to the vertical beams on the outter section.
I would then think that given this is a circular mount, the base of a rocket fits in and is secured by bolts.

The massive plates with a large hole on the outer section facing outside are certainly support plate for dampers (you can see that they are made to tranfer the load to a lower position) or simply a rigid base (ground) articulated in rotation around the hole axis to prevent buckling.
