Tesla is recalling nearly 54,000 cars and SUVs because their “Full Self-Driving” software lets them roll through stop signs without coming to a complete halt.
I was hoping they would return to the electric version they were working upon.

The engineer's a bit coy at first but is forced to give away the fact that it's been designed to allow an EV version and they'll have to electrify anyway now. I gather the downfall of the previous attempt at an EV was suppliers and battery technology, which has advanced significantly since then.
