I must admit to having a love for the absurd.
How can it exist?
Well, once upon a time, a tax was implemented on car makers for the carbon emissions of heir range. It was meant to be fair, to allow certain marques to make cars that smoked like factories so long as overall they met a standard of efficiency. Since Aston Martin only made high powered, high-carbon cars, they needed a loophole and so they partnered with Toyota to badge-engineer a version of their own answer to Smart, the 'IQ,' which they named the Cygnet. To preserve the brand - supposedly - you could only buy a Cygnet if you already owned one of Aston's other products. At first, this seemed to make sense - width and parking restrictions made getting a proper Aston into inner London tricky but with a Cygnet, you could tootle about and still advertise that you owned a proper Aston.
Still, it flopped. Maybe that wasn't a surprise.
However, in an exercise in automotive parody, this was made. Hurrah!

Would you pay £500k for the world’s only V8-engined Aston Martin Cygnet? | Evo
The Vantage-engined one-off hatch was built by Aston Martin for a very persuasive customer back in 2018
