I know but then, I follow the Chapman theorem, "Design prefection and take nothing away. Just add lightness". The long strut arm on the 60's F1 cars was there to stiffen the chassis AND suspension. Two jobs with ONE chassis member.

Well known in F1 circles as a team manager who did not allow one fluid ounce more fuel than he thought the car needed for the race, which meant they did not always finish the race.

Yes, the Herkimer Battle Jitney has been restored. The original vehicle from the 1999 movie "Mystery Men" underwent a full restoration and was completed by May 2024. It was showcased at MomoCon in Atlanta that same month, as reported by enthusiasts on social media. The restoration was led by Mark Zoran of Razorfly Studios in Sylva, North Carolina, who aimed to bring the iconic prop back to its screen-accurate condition for the movie's 25th anniversary. Since then, it has been making appearances at conventions and car shows.
