Uses of gun turrets on naval drones to damage helicopters.

Details of a new unique special operation of the Security Service have emerged. On the night of December 5-6, a group of SBU sea drones “Sea Baby” entered into battle with Russian helicopters, airplanes and patrol boats “Raptor”, which were trying to intercept them. These water drones were manufactured as a result of joint fundraising with UNITED24, monobank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, Sergey Sternenko and Igor Lachen in February of this year. Russian pilots considered themselves hunters and counted on an easy hunt, but they became prey, because the sea drones opened fire in return.
The latest “Sea Baby” were equipped with large-caliber machine guns with ballistic programs for automatic guidance and auto-capture of targets. Intercepted Russian radio communication indicates that there are killed and wounded on board the helicopters. The helicopters themselves received significant damage and now require major repairs. Also, SBU drones hit a barge carrying military equipment and equipment for the repair of the Crimean Bridge, which the occupiers are still unsuccessfully trying to restore after previous bombings by the Ukrainian special services.
"Sea Baby" is our multi-purpose platform, which can accommodate various weapons: both multiple launch rocket systems and flying drones and large-caliber machine guns. The main thing is that it has once again proven its effectiveness. The results of our work are actually much more than we can show now, but everything has its time," the 13th Main Directorate of the Military Counterintelligence Department of the SBU noted.

I wonder how long it will be before a Russian helicopter or low-flying just is taken out by a sea-drone launched AA-8 Aphid?

Inside Defense reported Dec 20 that Navy had completed Congress mandated unattended testing of 720 hours, 30 days, on six propulsion systems for USVs, would appear all diesels, last two reported were Caterpillar and MTU, no GTs ?

When viewing the above video of the Ivanovets blowing up and then rapidly sinking stern first, I cannot help but think of the two last photographs taken of the battlecruiser HMS Invincible sinking during the Battle of Jutland - the first with the ship engulfed in flames from stem to stern as its P and Q turret magazines deflagrate, and the second with the bow, sitting on shallow seafloor, protruding nearly vertically out of the water.
It reminded me of how Yamashiro "dissolved" in the Surigao strait.
