Does he have a depiction of them with gear down? AA-1 has a different nose gear door design from subsequent aircraft (where lessons learned from AA-1 were applied).Steve Pace said:Giuseppe De Chiara has now captured the first of five SDD F-35As (AA-1) in three view - not an easy task. -SP
I'm sorry but his AA-1 drawing is gear-up only. -SPelmayerle said:Does he have a depiction of them with gear down? Ah, okay. If anyone is trying to model that particular aircraft, it has a single nose gear door instead of the split doors of all subsequent aircraft.archipeppe said:elmayerle said:Does he have a depiction of them with gear down? I'm sorry but my drawing policy is to depict always the subject in "clean" aerodynamical configuration, this means that you don't find my drawings with gear down.
I'm told mid-2017 so it's quite a ways off yet. Thanks for your interest. -SPgatoraptor said:So what is the anticipated publication date at present? The book still does not appear on Amazon.
