Section 1, page 1 after Executive Orders, which is 42 pages long. This is how the page with which the description of the rifle and its tests begins looks like.May I ask what pages describe the Shpitalniy rifle? Can’t read Russian, sorry.
Oops, my fault. Are there descriptions of Shpitalniy SMG? There are articles about his 1940 drum fed SMG, but I’ve found no literal information on his 1940 magazine fed SMG.7.62 mm rifle mod. 1891 with a Fedorov-Degtyarev improvement complex, experimental, 1924.

It may well be that the box magazine fed Shpitalniy SMG is just the Shpitalniy 1940 with a box magazine rather than a drum mag. I don't think there were separate designations for the PPSH-41 depending on mags fitted. 1940 was the time the Russians were having an intense internal monologue on the relative merits/disadvantages of box VS drum mags from both tactical and production perspectives.Oops, my fault. These two Shpitalny submachine guns clearly differ not only in the magazines used.
This submachine gun has a French MAT 49 look.
Jean Huon is a real expert in French firearms. A few numbers of Berthier carbine have been adapted to the CRSG mag.
