I have had several of my posts deleted the last one was about 1 months ago. One was the cutaway of the bell x22a on the last post that was deleted sorry I do not remember.The next day I tried to see the post and it as not there. was sick at the time and mad that it as cut.

Every deletion by a moderator is logged. Couldn't see anything in June relating to a post by you.

There have been a lot of threads that have been sliced up and shuffled around in recent months. Perhaps the thread you posted in got re-titled or some such. It happens.

Also: are you *sure* your post actually got posted? A few times it happened to me that I missed a last step in the process, or my computer burped at just the wrong moment, and a post I spent some fair amount of time composing got lost right at the last second (not just here, but pretty much any forum). If you're not paying attention, sometimes you might think it got posted when in fact it didn't make it.

I second Scott's point. I was trying to comment on the UCLASS topic yesterday, hit the Post button, and didn't follow up to see if the comment got posted. In fact, it didn't. This has happened to me a couple of times, especially when using iOS.

There is an option in the Profile options whereby you can ask to return to the topic immediately after clicking the Post button, instead of going back to the list. I have always used this personally as I absolutely want to make sure that things get posted the way they were meant to be. I strongly encourage you to activate that option!

If the "thanks" message is also gone, that would seem - at least to me - like some sort of administrative flub. Perhaps a thread was chopped up, and a series of posts that were supposed to go from Thread A to Thread B went instead into Thread Square-Root-Of-Minus-One.

It would have filled the role of the B-26 Invader, I think, carrying a heavier bomb load with a
higher speed. But I don't think, that it would have been really a quantum leap.

[/quote' I'm sure they could have been so modified. As for your second question it would be pure speculation on my part. However, the composite-powered (piston and turbojet) XB-42A hit 488 mph during its flight testing phase at Muroc AAF (Edwards AFB) with straight flying surfaces. -SP
