Hi, Retrofit)
This photo circulates from my archiev, so if you need big sized just let me know.
Best regards

Ooops, sorry ucon! I didn't know about its origin.

What final status was reached by this incredible project?

Round the world (via both Poles) record aircraft. 1945-1947 project.
Do you mean a round-the-World record without stop, decades before the Voyager?
Wonderful twin-boomer anyway, thanks! ;D

Re: Unknown Bartini projects

Amazing project! It looks like it could be Burt Rutan's brainchild, not like a 65-year-old design! Just love it.

Re: Unknown Bartini projects

Thanks Ucon for having revealed it. Now, I can show the drawing I made of it:
r2_BartiniM_d.jpg

(for my Web site about twin-boomers 1939-45 http://cmeunier.chez-alice.fr/update_FG.htm
, as the first drawing seems dated 1945 even if the project continued till 1947)

Hi,

anther artist drawing to Bartini T-117 project.

I'm afraid that's the T-107, not the T-117. Here's a better version of it:

Star.. is closest I think.

The 117 design had a tripple horizontal lobe fuselage.

Yeah, and the 107 designation wasn't my own speculation, anyway... it was the caption to the image from the original Russian magazine in which I found it.

At the beginning of this thread on the first page is the answer to your riddle. This T-117, which was the building but due to lack of engines was not up in the air

I'm afraid you misread the first post. What is said there is clear:

T-107 - 1945 passenger airliner
T-117 Kit (Whale)- 1947 military transport project

As the image clearly shows a passenger transport, it can only be the T-107...

Are you familiar with the notion of a multi-purpose aircraft. So in the construction of a transport version and had the T-117. The figure is one of the variants of T-117

See : Flateric's post in the first page of this thread
and compare...

Re: Unknown Bartini projects

Very nice ucon, as usual...

This "2500" was studied while under Beriev, right? But are the more recent Be-2500 proposals related to the Bartini KB in any way?

Beriev 2500 and Bartini 2500 are not equal, Stargazer))

I know that! Allow me to rephrase my question:

Some Bartini projects were developed while Bartini worked for Beriev. Did Beriev develop the "2500" when he was still at Beriev, and can it be considered both as a Bartini AND a Beriev? Or was it developed after that?*

Is the current Be-2500 (which is also a WIG) derived in any way from Bartini's work?
Dear ucon,
Was this E-57 supersonic jet-liner equiped with a delta wing without tailplane? (it is difficult to see on the photo)

Thank you, ucon. Any chance of having the designations/descriptions to those numbers?

Re: Unknown Bartini projects

Some amazing models here, ucon... Are they part of a museum's collection?

Only ucon would know for sure... but he doesn't seem to be roaming the forum much these days... :(
