Drones and how to kill them?

IAI advances on its SkyCapture and introduces 3D Capture.

And intercept tests of both systems:

So now IAI is offering a more complete portfolio:

Standard AFVs: IAI M3S2, utilizes existing components such as RWS, EO and radars found on most AFVs.

Dedicated C-UAS: 3D Capture, utilizes M230LF 30mm cannon and dedicated EO+radar on a mobile platform.

Stationary or deployable C-UAS: SkyCapture, utilizes deployable sensor and C2 station, and variety of cannons.

Rafael also unveiled its Typhoon C-UAS:

Typhoon is a naval RWS. Israel has reportedly been testing these for a while now.

Ward Carrol has recently uploaded a video concerning the Coyote and Roadrunner anti-drone systems:

Military.com reporter Konstantin Toropin joins the channel to talk about the U.S. Navy's development of Coyote and Roadrunner, new anti-drone systems that are being put aboard destroyers as a lower cost option to Standard missiles used in the Red Sea against the Houthi threat.

Both of these interceptor drones would be great interest and use for the Ukrainians.

Just like in World War I, they were first scouts and then became fighter planes to destroy reconnaissance planes.
That's how I expect them to evolve as well. I think "fighter drones" are going to get a couple of P90s attached to them.

And with all the things happening with yemen recently its probably no surprise that yet another MQ-9 got shot down, making this the 16th one since 2023.
Oh, look, a completely defenseless drone got shot down. I'm about to die of not-surprise.

Fascinating look at Ukrainian counter fixed wing UAV operations with Madyars Birds.

Interestingly it shows the recovery of an unused interceptor...which, along with flight speed, altitude and loiter time might make these fixed wing interceptors superior to the FPV type.

Nope, sticks and shotguns. Already how it’s going in Ukraine.

Sure, now.

I suspect that a pair of P90s would work better, though.
Idk, birdshot is doing pretty well for them so far.

I mean maybe if these little drones get more durable, but that seems unlikely since that would significantly increase their price and a their biggest draw is that they’re cheap and can be spammed affordably.

These things just get smaller.

Attach to monofilaments to snag/cut other drones?

We don't know what payload those shotguns are carrying. It won't be a standard 12 bore cartridge as
tests in the West, and Ukraine and Russia, have shown that birdshot is not sufficient to shoot down a small FPV reliably. Instead a round between that and Buckshot is required with heavier shot (including tungsten).

Tungsten shot is in sufficient production to make the shells an item of regular commerce in the US. Tungsten Super Shot is super expensive, though, like 10+x the cost of a normal bird shot shell.

Edit: TSS tends to be small pellets, but since they're almost twice the weight of a lead pellet the same size that's good for extending effective range.

Alex Hollings from Sandboxx has just put out a video concerning the Anduril Roadrunner-M and Raytheon Coyote anti-drone interceptor drones deployment that are about to equip carrier strike group ships:

America’s aircraft carriers will now be defended by advanced new turbojet-powered drone interceptor missiles that can loiter in the airspace around the carrier strike group to rapidly engage incoming drone swarms. So, let's talk about Anduril's Roadrunner-M and Raytheon's Coyote interceptors.
