What is your favourite animal

I loved the sandwich question which reminded me of how much I love Polar Bears. I have been lucky to be allowed to feed them at Aalborg Zoo in Denmark.

The world's largest land predator lives in some of the harshest conditions so is an efficient killer. But in well run parks or zoos they show how clever and beautiful they are too.

I like Sea horses.

If you are small and light enough and float, evolution will allow for more fanciful builds.

Swim too fast--physics forces you into streamlining.

Too big and heavy? You become tank like.

Apart from cats, another pus. Kinda fond of the rest of the cephalopods too. And sperm whales, even though they eat them.

If I was a mad scientist, I'd give them proper lifespans, not the measly months to a few years they have.
