What car would you have like to been built ?

Carver S+. Two-seater commuter BEV. 80 km/h, max range 100 km.
As someone who lived in asia and had to commute via motorbike, this looks a nice upgrade. Now if there is some way to increase the crash safety factor for such vehicles and it'd be perfect.

Aston Martin Bulldog. Quite a history behind this. AM was planning a limited edition but never quite made it. The prototype has recently undergone a full restoration. The design was by William Towns, who was responsible for the wedge-shaped Lagonda of the 70s. It makes the Cybrtrk look vulgar, which it is.
AIUI, the 'Folded Paper' styling of this, and other cars from this time, was due in part to the limitations of the early CAD software then available.

I have a lot of answers to this question, but today I'll throw out the Ford Interceptor.
Pretty decent chance the Blue Oval would have flubbed this if they went ahead. But, if they had done it right...hot damn.
 
Bugatti Galibier. From what I remember, it did make some progress towards production but they tried to make it a limousine and they ended up ruining the proportions - 'like a dachshund from the side and a bowler hat from the rear' is one description - so it was put out of its misery. This was before people were buying luxury 4-seaters that weren't saloons or limos, so if they'd pursued it as a GT or similar, it might have succeeded.

SAAB was planning this as a 9-3 replacement to go into production in 2012.

For every new or revived marque that succeeds (at least for a while), there are dozens that don't. A lot of EV startups are struggling (Fisker is circling the drain) or dependent on powerful backers (Polestar at least had a start with Volvo and is now a separate brand under Chinese giant Geely, which owns both - and Lotus).

And then there are peculiarities like this venture. Entirely a grift or wishful thinking with embroidered facts? It's been four years now, so I assume it's a case of 'exit, pursued by bailiff.'

 
And thank the Great Green Arkleseizure that this never made it. 'No side mirrors needed'? And no cooling for that huge engine either, it seems.

Love those Jensens . . . co-incidentally, the old Jensen factory is only 5-10 minutes* drive away from where i currently live . . .
*-probably about 3 1/2 in the FFF 100 . . .

A refined Schlörwagen with an all-electric drive, and a power-egg for an axillary fixed-speed motor for battery charging (range extension or working in remote areas) which could be swapped out in the field for more batteries or more storage. Also, probably all wheel steering.

If I allow myself to lack judgment - then a Morgan Trike.
 
SAAB was coming up with a lot of great concepts in its final years. Anyone can do wildly innovative concepts, some can do beautiful ones, and only a few can do ones that are both. There were rumours that SAAB had intentions to take the Aero-X to limited production.
