there was also a Jet-propelled Helicopter project by Dow Chemical
Company in 1943 ?.

Though not an aviation manufacturer, this firm conducted helicopter-related jet propulsion studies in 1943, under the supervision of Prof. E. A. Stalker; it also extensively modified a Vultee Vigilant monoplane in its workshops circa 1946, with a hump over cockpit housing blower drawing in air from wing induction slot.

Hello - I am new to this forum and am just looking for information regarding the Halligan Brothers. My mom has what we believe to be 2 prototype planes/helicopters of theirs. She was a neighbor with them in Beardstown and they became friends. Any advice on what to do with them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
