That Sunflowr Seed idea. Let's take a fabric covered aircraft, and set off rockets next to the main fuel tank.

BRILLIANT!

what's the purpose of the trike gear? The main gear is way too far forward the CG to have it actually sit on its nose. The seat welded to the side obviously implies it's some sort of taxi-only training setup.

Could be wrong , but I have some idea that the Hurri Twin is
a 'what iff ' dream from a modelers magzine..

Probably there to prevent a nose-over.

Wouldn't want to hurl the chaps in the jump seats into the prop. ;D

This Hurricane in particular was used in India (151st OTU at Pershawa) in late 1945/early 1946 to train Indian Air Force pupils in the art of brake control and taxiing.
The airplane rendered flightless by the addition of spoilers on the outer wings and protected from nosign over by a nose wheel.
It had two additionl seats on either side of the cockpit and was named "The Dodo" as a reference to an extinguised species of bird that could not fly.

There is no information on colours, but it is almost sure that they were yellow and black, as per the RAF rules for trainers.

Your is a very interesting observation because it proves that the illustrator did not have the original drawings of the project but worked based on a text.
The danger was in the fabric catching fire. The fuel tank was located between the engine and the cockpit in the Hurricane.
