One of my loves is the big early 60s US cruiser with massive Talos launchers.
I was delighted when watching this old British comedy film to see it had scenes on the USN 6th Fleet flagship in 1962 at Villefranche.

"Flash Gordon." While Zarkov is being reprogrammed a bunch of images flash across the screen, including several pieces of Sikorsky concept art.

There was an episode of the original Battlestar Galactica that had a bunch of stock footage of surface to air missiles that included a shot of the Sprint ABM.

I would think the series "Warhship" would definitely have some useful footage.

Though I've never watched it, the "Malta Story" has some useful archive footage of action over Malta as well.
