This should help the F-16 and Mirages but - beware of R-37 missiles.

Guess Russians no longer use Belarus airspace. Because Kyiv is within striking distance from there.

AEW tho is a big target. Back in the day i made estimate of the SAAB-340 AEW RCS.

Which include the Erieye. 12 frequencies were modeled from VHF down to X-band. Result wise, compared to baseline SAAB-340, the RCS for AEW variant is about 6% higher.



Considerably less than what i expected (1.6 times or 160% based on what i did for a hypothetical A-320AEW) Still, 15-20 Sqm from VHF to X-band is kinda risky.

That photo is unmistakably an An-26, not a Saab 340. The tail ramp is clearly visible.

Another way you can tell the difference is that the An-26's wings are shoulder mounted whereas the Saab-340's wings are belly mounted.

This should help the F-16 and Mirages but - beware of R-37 missiles.

R-37s are a real problem. Only when Ukraine receives fighters capable of carrying Meteors will there be a reliable countermeasure to it, and these are in very short supply among the whole of the European air forces.
