so the ammo that is not in the bustle of the turret, where is it.? In K2 is like the Leo, the ammo rack is next to the driver.

I still believe Altay will be obsolete the day it enters service, perhaps obsolete is too harsh - doesn't address threats in the current climate of cheap FPV drones knocking MBTs out.

They need to figure out a way to get AKKORs active protection system to detect, track and classify FPV drones from RPG/KE and stick one of those airburst 40mm AGL on it for drone defence.

Aselsan Konya developed MAKS OBA-40H 40mm AGL for remote weapon stations, addresses weight and some of the issues with existing 40mm AGL.


Stick one of these on the turret; with the above 40mm AGL. Proper drone defence for MBTs.
