The interlude/theme music you are touched by

Love it.
Clearly these guys were kids watching Goldorak (French for Grendizer) and Capitaine Flam on RécréA2 (French kid tv show, late 70's and into the 80's). I remember some controversies about the "invasions" of Japanese cartoons on French kid tv show...
"These cartoons are stupid and incomprehensible , there are gonna make ours kids mad !"
Sure, hear and see the result :D

As for crescendolls... either they said "elysium" or something akin to... "erection" ??!!!
(uncontrollable laughter, guaranted - once you start hearing the wrong word, it is a train wreck, since it is repeated over and over and over...)

LOL, You mean like "Harder Better Faster" ? ... Or "Too long" ?

ROTFL good one !

"Harder bester faster" always reminds me of Dan Goldin motto for NASA in the 90's "Faster better cheaper" (it didn't ended well...)

Don't start me on such (lame) play on words... I'm still convinced that it is quite strange for a pop singer to call itself "sucre" / "azucar" / "sugar" (Wait, zuchero, doesn't mean sugar, in italian)

Try this one... from my high school years... (sigh)

How bizarre

I have something for the EBR, was the first military vehicle I ever saw in real , I was very young kid in the car with my parents, there was that big "thing" parked on the side of the road, couldn't understand what it was, they had projected some mud on the dark green paint, which had dried and made a very effective camo . Then saw a head popping out of that mysterious muddy monster. Was super impressed. Plus it looks good, like an 8 wheeled Bugatti sport car with a cannon.

Also from the soundtrack to 'Eye's Wide Shut', a waltz that's always bought to my mind the image of 'wry grin and a cocked hat'...

...

...It also shows that even at the end of his career Stanley Kubrick could still pick music with great effect...
Remember an interview of him saying something like « why paying someone to do a film music that I’m not even sure it will fit and be really good when I have so many perfect classical pieces in public domain that would fit perfectly ? ».
