Tesla Cybertruck

I don't think Musk cares about cars that much. He wants to do big things, not run a normal money making company. The reason why Musk doesn't sell is because Tesla can work as a platform to jump into Ai.

Penny and dimes against the Chinese can be left to everyone else~

And if you believe that, have I got a list of bridges to sell you...
Most billionaires at the end of the day can either buy stupidly overpriced "products", give money to children/poor/whoever or start a trust which just plain wastes money a generation or two down the line due to drift. If one have a bit more ambition there is politics.

Elon Musk is a singularitarian that believes in imminent development of artificial super-intelligence, and one beyond talk have spend big money at in openai, xai, and neurolink.

Most poor singulartarians can only cower at the dramatic changes ASI implies. For someone with infinite ambition, no shame and top of line personal resources, the time is ripe to grab history by the horns.

The proper objectives for Musk is likely the being the immortal cyborg martian emperor commanding an army of robots. Anything less is not properly taking the worldview into account.

If what you want is money from the electrification, just buy CATL and not bother with the job.

Thanks for that. I had to look up singulathingie ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singularitarianism

Wiki places singularitarianism as a subset of transhumanism (h+). And, if what you are describing is the case, Elon really has swallowed the entire pitcher of h+ KoolAid.

So, if I understand the plan correctly ... start with multiple hair transplants and then on to other technologically-enhanced übermenschen body enhancements before ultimately achieving cyborg immortality off-planet. These are truly impressive goals.

Now, if we could just add to all these blandishments, the (AI-enable?) design oversight of a halfway decent-looking electric pickup, I'd be doubly impressed with our AfD-supportin' boy!

Surely all the poor guys who died disemboweled in a mud puddle, frozen in the tundra, burned alive in the cockpit of an airplane, eaten by sharks or sick in a concentration camp... without knowing why they died... They would have preferred to be at home with their families while an army of robots satisfied the stupid desires of some infamous politician.

Musk apparently also believes in the Simulation Theory, see https://quantumzeitgeist.com/elon-musk-and-simulation-theory/. Someone really should hand him one of those Occam's Razors...

To explain the workings of the universe, propose another, possibly even more complicated universe. In turn, to explain the workings of that proposed universe, propose yet another universe. Ad infinitum.

One thought immediately jumps to my mind:
- Pyramid Scheme

Closely followed by:
- It's turtles all the way down

From that quantumzeigeist-site
Some of the brightest minds in the world, including entrepreneur and innovator Elon Musk, are interested in it.
Brightest minds my foot.

Fun fact: in french, a kéké is a supposedly flamboyant, but actually pathetic, buffoon. "Arrête de faire ton kéké !"

Well we even have a MP with the name of Rachel Kéké, but that's not important right now.
