I didn't expect to turn a corner and walk into this beast in Newcastle!
It's the Challenger that used to be on a plinth outside the former Vickers plant on Scotswood Rd, now outside the Discovery Museum in Newcastle (also home of the Turbinia and loads of warship models).
Apparently it's Mk.1 tarted up to look like a Mk.2.
