Half a year later not looking forward anymore because .................................. the book was delivered at my home today!View attachment 653782
I look forward to this book, which is a revised and updated combined edition (464 pages) of the two volumes on the Me 163 which have long been out of print.
Dan Sharp mentioned in the past on the Falke Eins website that he was helping Ransom to update his book for a reprint.
Available as of 30th September 2021: http://www.crecy.co.uk/me-163-rocket-interceptor
Now that is one I definitely will buy.
I hope that Schiffer does an English-language version like they've done with some of Reichl's other books.

The definitive book about the Apollo missions: extraordinary, newly restored images from the NASA archives
Finally published, my copy arrived today. Les wrote the Introduction exactly four years ago, so you can see how long this one has been in the Crecy system. No doubt had to wait for the endless catalogue of locomotives, trucks and buses picture books to go through first . I've only had time to flick through but its full of never-seen-before projects and new information. A great addition to my library. And now they say 8th December

Luftwaffe Special Weapons 1942–45
Author: Robert Forsyth
Illustrator: Jim Laurier
About this product:
As the course of World War II turned against the Third Reich after Stalingrad some of the most inventive and radical proposals, and designs, were put forward by armaments manufacturers, scientists and technicians, aircrew and even private individuals to the Reichsluftministerium (German Air Ministry) for consideration. Some proposals were destined never to leave the drawing board, while others not only underwent trials but were issued to operational units and used in action.
In this fascinating new book, leading Luftwaffe historian Robert Forsyth examines the many different types of weapons that comprised the Luftwaffe's increasingly potent arsenal during the second half of the war. This was the period that saw the development and adoption of aerial torpedoes, wire-guided rockets and missiles, batteries fired by photo-electric cells, chemical weapons, composite bombers and air-launched flying bombs.

This book could be best thought of as an 'Iraqi Secret Projects' volume because Saddam Hussein was bent on taking Iraq back to the glory of the Babylonian Empire and Iraq's secret weapons programs largely ceased after he was ousted (claims that Saddam was reconstituting his biological and chemical warfare programs proved false, but that's another story).Iraqi Indigenous Arms Projects 1970-2003
