very close and related Boeing 733-197 :


Wings will not be moveable. But there will be 3 sets, 74°, 40° and 20 all out, to be inserted in wing root. That printed wing is the first test, slats and flaps are separate pieces, turned out ok. Only some goof on the flaps underside, have to try another printing angle.
Still lot of work.

This is my interpretation of how MLG retracts & extends, following the well known Boeing cutaway sideview and plan.
Some details added are fake of course, this to give the impression of something real and functional.



Then here is the model done for printing, some parts had to be thickened, but it turned Ok.

Ah, sorry to disappoint. I am a bit SST obsessed.
I had that 733-197, and I procrastinated when it came to texturing it. So decided to turn it "printable" for something new to do.
Turns out it's almost as much work as redoing the all thing.

Printing all fine, then just when I had finished, engine Nmr 2 slipped of my hand, and fell on the hard kitchen floor... Hé merd...


Will have to reprint that one.

Still, too many supports "scars" on the upper side, will have to fix that for the next print.
