On 3 March 2018, the state Corporation ROSCOSMOS and the China national space administration (CNSA) signed an agreement of intent on cooperation in the field of moon and long-range space exploration, as well as on the establishment of a data Center on lunar projects within the framework of the Tokyo international space exploration forum (ISEF).
The parties expressed their readiness to consider the possibility of cooperation on the implementation of the Russian mission to launch the Luna-Resurs-1 (Luna-26) spacecraft in 2022, as well as the Chinese mission to land in the southern pole of the moon scheduled for 2023. Signatures under the document was framed, the General Director of state Corporation "ROSCOSMOS" Igor KOMAROV and the Deputy head of the China national space administration U YANHUA.
In addition, the partners agreed to establish a joint Russian-Chinese data Center for lunar projects and deep space, expressing readiness to involve scientific and industrial organizations and companies of Russia and the people's Republic of China (PRC) in the work, if necessary...
