More exciting than being with the RAF in 1977I have spent quite a lot of time thinking how the Queen affected my life, she was six years into the job when I arrived on the planet so that is a fair bit. Privileged to have taken part in the silver jubilee parade in Sennelager. Amazing how vivid memories can be in such circumstances,
My dad was in the Signals and was among the poor sods who had to set up and tidy up after, but he did get a Sennelager Jubilee commemorative jug for his efforts...Should they ever release coverage of the rehearsals, there would be a lot of Rudolph's around.
It was to say the least comical and the only time it went right was on the day itself. There was that tho'.
Strict rules on Queen tributes imposed - and Paddington Bear is banned

And as if that wasn't enough, the Queen goes and dies just as she starts the job......
