I've been looking for the real-life inspiration for the fictional Savoia S.21 from "Porco Rosso," and this is the closest match I've been able to find yet. A lot of people cite the Macchi M.33 as the basis for Porco's plane, but the Potez 453 more closely resembles the S.21's distinctive layout.
