Perhaps it's because of the nature of the Ukrainian battlefield and especially from poor use by Russian forces, I think we need to be careful about learning lessons from that conflict too quickly. Their main failure in Ukraine is lack of long range munitions (for the Ukrainians) and improper employment by the Russians, and a lack of ISTAR on both sides. These are not things which should be an issue for NATO, in theory at least.More interestingly, it is noteworthy that the military with the closest outlook on the evolutions of tactics in the Ukrainian conflict is committing so much with a weapon system that has seen so much scrutiny, at least over the internet battlefields.
