According to its inventor, the PistonJet II "was conceived as a sport for people who want to fly a jet aircraft, but do not have the finances". It uses Chevrolet LS6 drive fans (ducted fans) and is being built in Volgograd. It would seem the first PistonJet was already flown at Oshkosh.
