The document that Hesham has pulled these concepts from is a great read, although it has a bias normal for asking a specific industry for analysis.

Stephane, any more info on the last picture (the one that looks like a DO-31?)
Just curious about the wingtip devices, presumably additional engines? the one on the left seems to have a rotating nozzle on the outboard, but it's very close to the inlet, doesn't look like you would be able to fit an entire engine in that space. Also, the aft end of the wingtip devices has a weird shape...can't tell if it's cruciform clamshell thrust reversers (wild guess) or what.
Cool find either way ;)

... it is interesting to see that a much more recent project (origin unknown) based on a Learjet fuselage follows pretty much the same principle.
