I noticed that the NASM has updated the finding aid of the Rudy Arnold photo collection. ALL the kinds of aircraft photographed by Rudy Arnold are now exhaustively listed depending on the kind of material:

- black and white negatives
- color transparencies
- Glass plate negatives
- Additional photography

For instance, I know now for sure that Rudy Arnold has made color photographs of planes such as Boeing XB-47, Douglas D-558 Skyrocket, McDonnell XF-88, Curtiss XP-55 Ascender, Vought XF7U-1 Cutlass or Republic Rainbow... They are all listed!

Theorically, you can order HI-RES digital scans to the NASM. Who has already made a request?

Has someone already ordered hi-res digital scans of non-digitalized photos to the Nasm ? When you read the Faq, it's possible, Nasm will digitalize requested images and transfer them to you for a very moderate price. But each time I have emailed to the archives division reference desk with very simple and detailled request (i wanted to have the image Id of colour Xf-88 transparencies by Rudy Arnold, because the digitalization service needs these id s for digitalizing the images), they never replied to me... Who could help me to get in touch with Nasm archives staff, for instance someone who lives near Whasington Dc, and goes frequently to the Nasm ? I'm French and i live in France... Many thanks
