Design of Ki-117 was finished 80% when the end of the war.

You are absolutely right!
Ki-117 was a Ki-84 base middle altitude air superiority fighter, extended Ki-84's wing 50cm at each tip. Propeller diameter was 3.6m.
Empty weight increased 868kg, MTOW increased 1,047kg and Max speed increased 50km/h compared with Ki-84.
Wing span:11.238m, Length:10.177m, Height:3.85m, Wing Area:22.30m, Empty Weight:3,540kg, MTOW:5,296kg, Range:1,577km, Armament:20mm cannon×4.It's engine was HA44(without turbo supercharger) same as Fugaku variant,HA44 was the mother engine of HA54 as you already knew. At the end stage of the war, there were many U.S. fighters in Japanese sky, they were P-51D from Iou Island(硫黄島), and F6F from U.S.Navy airplane carriers.
IJA hoped this fighter very much.

The 3-view draw relates to the Ki-117.
A brief data table of Ki-117 specs:

Here is a photo of what I suppose is the Ki-116.

It is the standard Ki-84 Ko (Ki-84a) s/n 2366, captured by the US forces in Japan after the war and shipped to USA, where it received Foreign Evaluation number FE-302.

Ki-84-Ⅱ : Partial wooden structure, only planned.
Ki-84-Ⅲ : High altitude fighter with turbo charged engine, only planned.
Ki-84-Ⅳ : High altitude fighter with Ha45-44 engine, only planned.

Ki-116's nose is little long?
Kinsei engine was lighter than HA-45 engine. Perhaps it's necessary to move engine to forward direction to adjust center of gravity.

English Wikipedia says this about Ki-116: "The Ki-116 was essentially the last variant of the Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate to enter flight trials. It was originally the fourth Mansyu-built Ki-84-I, and adapted to take a 1,500 hp Mitsubishi Ha-112-II (aka Kinsei 62) engine, the same engine as used in the Kawasaki Ki-100, driving a three-blade popeller borrowed from a Mitsubishi Ki-46-III Dinah. This conversion proved to be very successful, and a reduction of 1,000 lb in empty weight being registered. The aircraft was still undergoing tests at the time of Japan's final defeat. The plane seemed to have been somewhat longer and had an increased tail surface area as compared to the original Ki-84."
