Hello dear fellow members I'm curious at a for me total unknown nightfighter project,it was a projected
nightfighter project by the Nakajima company.
I believe it was an twin engined aircraft, that's the only thing i know about this aircraft.was it a competitor to the Aichi S1A1 Denkoh? I hope that one of you fellow members can provide me with more data of this aircraft.
It will be fantastic if someone has drawings/artistimpressions of the Nakajima Ki-101

The Ki-101 was a night fighter planned by the Imperial Japanese Army. It was developed by Nakajima Aircraft Company. No actual aircraft was built.

Overview
The Army issued a draft instruction on July 9, 1943 (Showa 18) requesting a twin-engine night fighter capable of a speed of 700 km/h at an altitude of 10,000 m. Research began at Nakajima in the summer of the same year.
It was planned to build three prototypes and 18 additional prototypes with the first prototype to be completed in March 1945.
However, only the design was completed,[2] and work was not started until the end of the Pacific War.

The specifications were similar to the "Denkou" night fighter developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy and the engine was said to be Nakajima's "Ha 219"[1][2] or "Ha 245" air-cooled 18-cylinder radial engine (takeoff 2,000 hp), but there is also a theory that it was Mitsubishi's "Ha 112 II" air-cooled 14-cylinder radial engine (takeoff 1,500 hp).

Specifications (planned values)
Source: "Japanese Aeronautical Academic History (1910-1945)", p. 417

Engine: Nakajima Ha 219 air-cooled radial 18-cylinder (takeoff 2,450 hp) x 2
Maximum speed: 700 km/h or more (target value)
Normal operating altitude: 10,000 m (target value)
Armament:
30-40 mm cannon x 1-2
20 mm cannon x 4 (2 of which are twin swivel cannons)

I just found out about this from @zzy2001 in this thread:
Perhaps they could give some info? The Kitai thread helps, but do we have any illustrations/blueprints?
Thanks for the notice. Since S1A Denko was an Hei-sen (type C fighter),she was naval-army cooperative program. Thus she must have an army version. My guess is that Ki-101 is the army variant of S1A.
