A Chinese Satellite Just Grappled Another And Pulled It Out Of Orbit
The maneuver raises concerns about the potential militarization of satellites designed to inspect, manipulate, or relocate other satellites.

If you can move a satellite to a different orbit you can also deorbit it, both of which render it useless, and you can do so without adding to space debris and the danger of triggering Kessler syndrome. How prevalent or effective are deorbiting systems, and are they militarily significant yet? Is there a way to get at GPS satellites and move them out of orbit, or are they too far out for existing systems at this time?
