Crazy that North Weald has nearly as many fast jets as Mexico with (at least) 3 Gnats!

More seriously, though, it would not be much different than any of the "private security" mercenary groups that get hired adound the world.

If only using them to address the likes of smugglers, perhaps deputize the pilots while they are on the job.

Back in 2006 the Mexican Navy was apparently considering the Su-27. Probably overkill for their current requirements but it was amusing at the time.
