This is a McDonnell Douglas painting in the collection of the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum. I'm placing these pictures here to show how it had been reworked by them as the F-15 evolved. Notice the thin sliver of the original black radome and the texture of the USAF lettering under the wing. I'm very sure that the bombs and the center line tank were added later.
I believe all the changes seen here are well known in the development of the F-15 though I though some here would like to see this representation of the changes.
