Stumbled across these recently and wanted to share, because I wish someone had pointed them out to me earlier.
I have some old books on SOG (Meyer is an author) and I know there are other interviews out there but I think these few really stand out.
The stories these guys have to tell are literally unreal. Many others didn’t survive running Recon with SOG - often across the fence into Laos.
The understated manner with which they recount their near-fatal missions only adds to the impact.
Well worth a late-night listen if you’re interested in SOG and Vietnam War history.
