I suppose the two front nozzles works like the Harrier's Pegasus.
While the back nozzle works like on the F-35B ? :
Forward nozzles had a single bearing, based on art shown in this thread, at a 45deg angle to aircraft centerline. Doesn't look like the center nozzle is long enough for a 3-bearing, so it's probably just a 2 bearing which is less efficient.Hi! 1214.
Hard to imagine how three exhaust nozzles work. Some hint in the last drawing?

The conception of the Pegasus engine in 1957 upset all the conventions of aircraft design. It was previously usual for aircraft designers to seek a suitable engine, but this was an engine that sought an aircraft.
