Hawker Kingston Factory Question

Something I haven't seen and I was curious about, where did Hawker flight test their aircraft that were built in the Ham Works in Kingston Upon Thames? I've read that they conducted flight testing at Dunsford Aerodrome, but that was over 30 miles away from the factory. If that is indeed where the aircraft were flight tested, how did Hawker get them there?

Sorry I should have specified that I was more interested in the post-WWII era. Hawker closed their Brookland plant in 1950 and moved to Dunsfold (op says Dunsford, I missed my auto correct changing it). So did they just ship the sub assemblies from Kingston to Dunsfold for final assembly then?

Years later I used to see the lorries with Harriers on them leaving Ham for Dunsfold.
