So Weird,

in Italian magazine,the Ryan FR-4 called Model-2885 !,maybe they meant Model-28-85 ?

I think that front engine is ACh-30B piston engine and rear engine is Lyulka Two-stage centrifugal compressor Turbojet engine RTD-1/VDR-2 or axial flow compressor Turbojet engine S-18/VDR-3. Each engine have turbo charger?
But I can't understand how to use these turbochargers.

Since they were discussing the XFR-4 Super Fireball, that "Model-2885" would be a typo for the Ryan Model 28-5.

"Soviet Union ordered Sukhoi Design Bureau and the Mikoyan Design Bureau to develop mixed power fighter powered by piston engine with VRDK accelerator which started development from 2/1944 to counteract German Messerschmitt Me 262.
Mig-13 prototype maiden flight date was 3/3/1945, but crashed caused by damage to the horizontal stabilizer in 5/7/19457/5. Flight test continued by No.2 prototype which modified vertical stabilizer and rolled out in 26/5/1945.
In flight test, powered only by piston engine, maximum speed was 677 km/h, while the VRDK operating speed improved up to 825 km/h. However she could fly only 10 minutes at this speed. Soviet Union decided to order 50 aircraft. Design Bureau completed 9 aircraft until the air show in 7/11/1945, but the air show was canceled because of bad weather.
However, production was discontinued after 16 aircraft production because need for power mixture aircraft decreased from the advent of flooded into Germany's Jet engine technology to the Soviet Union by the surrender of Germany and realization of MiG-9 and Yak-15 which developed by German jet engine technology.
Completed 16 aircraft deployed to Naval Aviation of the Baltic fleet and the northern fleet and was decommissioned in about 1950, but not went to the mission."

"This powerplant was combining the M-30B diesel engines with quasi turbojet boosters which were to be used in certain flight modes.
There was no mechanical connection between the piston engine and booster's compressor, the latter was driven by a turbine using the energy of the diesel engine's exhaust gases. Each of the two M-30Bs was to be fitted with two such air breathing boosters.The auxiliary installation was expected to produce a thrust of 850kgp(1,870lbst) at a flight speed of 800km/h(497mph)."
Also M-30B had power recoverly turbine same as pure turbo compound engine?

Sorry I made a big mistake again. It's not turbocharger.

So when take off, use VRDK booster without M-30B engine power recoverly turbine operation?.
When cruise, use M-30B power recoverly turbine only?(same as turbo compound engine?)
When dash, same as take off?

I can see shut off valve in diesel engine exhaust gas duct to front turbine and rear turbine. Use these shut off valve to change engine operation mode?
 
This aircraft also had quasi jet engines. Compressor of this engine was driven by turbine which driven by diesel engine exhaust gas.

The engines which located wing were ramjet engine. Diesel engine exhaust gas to the ramjet engine increase ramjet engine pressure.

Compressor of this quasi-jet engine was driven by air cooled radial piston engine which located each engine nacelle.
Fuselage is too slim to accomodate piston engine which supply quasi jet engine compressor drive power.

Almost same concept.

L 250 (Mig 13) a auxiliary compressor "jet engine" (CJE) to act as a booster. The CJE compressor was rotated by the M-107A prop engine using a shaft., so not a pure jetengine, Same with the Su-5 .
Caproni-Campini CC-2 was a"pure" jet engine.

The Yak-7R in details.

In early 1944,GKO (state committee for defense) asked Yakovlev,Lavochkin,Mikoyan
and Sukhoi to built a jet fighter,but USSR did not have any jet engine in production,so the used a mixed powered in most of designs,the responding from
companies with enteries; Sukhoi Su-5,MiG I-250,Lavochkin La.VRD ?,and may be
this Yak concept,honestly I don't know the last two firms proposals ?.
 
My sense was that the GKO was looking for ways to counter German jet aircraft. Since a genuine Soviet turbojet remained largely theoretical at that point, the VRDK motorjet was adopted as an interim solution. But the design bureaux produced separate concepts for both propulsion concepts.
 
Any RATO units on a B-36? With props jets and rockets it would have been aviation’s Great Eastern, with props paddle wheels and sails.

It's pretty clearly an artist's profile drawing based on this Yak-9R drawing posted back in 2007 in the first post on the topic. I see no claim that's an historical document and has the artist made guesses as to appearance, sure but that's the nature of the beast when dealing with old and obscure subject matter.

And now explain how the run-up will be carried out, taking into account the compression of the landing gear racks. Is he going to plow the GDP? You can draw anything, but you still need to use your brains.

The internal drawing seems to indicate that the rear part of the jet engine could be slightly swiveled upwards into the fuselage for takeoff and landing, although the feasibility of such an approach appears questionable, given geometric and structural constraints.
