German WWII Space Satellite ?!

Not satellites, but rather sounding rockets. By the way, the four major powers after WWII all fired V-2s with science payloads. USSR fired dozens of V-2s, R-1s, R-2s and R-5s missiles turned sounding rockets. Same for the USA and France, with Veronique being a derivate of V-2.

I thought a modified V-2 did thump a satellite up there—Explorer 1, courtesy of the ABMA after the Navy Flopnik. ;)

I wonder if that Satanist Parsons came up with the solid fuel recipe used in that spinning drum—I thought I saw glyphs :0

Redstone was not a "modified" V-2
The Redstone use the technology of Aggregat 4, but was improved Version by Von Braun and his team
Launch mass went 12 tons to 28 tons and engine thrust from 270 kN to 347 kN.
Also modernised flight electronics, compare to its 1940s ancestor the Aggregat 4...

Ironic in this topic is that Redstone as Jupiter-C (two Stages) Juno launch USA first satellite.
