Dear Friends,

Searching the net yesterday I came across the attached photo of what appears to be a G-2G full pressure suit (Grissom). This suit was on display at the Atlanta International Airport in (2013). I have a call in to see if it is still there, which museum has it on loan, or possibly finding the new location. Question: I have been searching for my Father’s (CWO4 Charles O. Laine) Gemini G-2C-2 gloves and helmet for some time now with no luck. The gloves on the displayed (G-2G) suit looks like (G-2C) gloves as they have the same wrist connections. Has anyone seen this suit before or can anyone share any information related to this suit. I am specifically looking for (G-2C) gloves labeled GG-2C-2 size Laine. The helmet in the picture is interesting but does not appear to be the GH-2C-2 size Laine helmet that I am looking for. Any information you can share related to this suit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all your help and support. See below. Be well.

There is a similar helmet and set of gloves in the museum in the Space Museum and Grissom Center in Bonn Terre, Missouri. Goggle the site and look at the exhibit photos. This may help you in your search. Good luck.

Craig,

Thank you for sharing this information with me. The suit at the Space Museum is a G-2G suit and gloves. I am looking for a GH-2C-2 helmet and GG-2C-2 gloves. They will say Laine on the tags. Good lead and much appreciated. I am still looking for these items and will follow all leads. Any assistance that the community could give would be greatly appreciated. Be well.
