Hi,
from a Syrian's book,which discussed this war of 1973,it mentioned that the aircraft in Egypt
air force service were;
MiG-15 = 40 to 50
MiG-17 = 206
MiG-19 = 30 to 40
MiG-21 = 220
MiG-23 = 20
Sukhoi Su-7 = 120
Sukhoi Su-20 = 16
Ilyushin IL-28 = 20
Tupolev Tu-16 = 8
Aero L-29 = 50
Mil Mi-6 = 8
Mil Mi-8 = 50
