Good idea. And since the Fulgur has the air intake moved away from the flanks, the "moustaches" would no longer disturb the air flow into the engines...
That's the annoying thing when modeling a Fulgur: one would have to eliminate the side intakes of a Mirage or a Draken.
Probably with the help of the rather old North American engineers that conceived the F107

FFS. THERE IS NO 'F-107' IN THE DESIGN !

From the artwork it's a Mirage 5/Kfir with an F-16 like intake mounted dorsally
(with my apologies for the inappropriate acronym)

Had the idea to try this for some time. Here :

It’s really a Mirage III/5 with a dorsal intake. Why would anyone put a dorsal intake on a Mirage III ? It’s even more kinky than with canards :p
Now you alternative history nerds to decide what engine could be in there ...

I really like those lines, but man do they force a short engine and short afterburner...

That does give a large space amidships for "interesting" things. Fuel tanks, VTOL systems, a cavernous bomb bay...

That would be fiddly work... lots of surgery to take the inlets back till the fuselage was round.

Zylmex was a Hong Kong manufacturer that made diecast aircraft from about 1970 to 1996. Their toys were released by numerous companies in different lines for decades. I recently bought this Dan Cooper series carded toy. I have seen two other helicopter models on Dan Cooper cards, and there easily could be others. The card is not dated, but I have heard it is likely from the 1980s. Does anyone have any additional information on the release?
