One suggestion: since cyclogyros are largely a theoretical technology that never resulted in any production item, indeed hardly a functional prototype even, could this topic be moved to the "Early aircraft projects" section? Thanks.

Seems a bit contradictory to me. We have concepts dating pre-war, but post-war as well, so the
"Early Projects Section"wouldn't be quite correct either, I think. And besides a few unsuccessful
prototypes , we are mostly just talking about concepts and ideas, as for example in the thread
about ornithopters.

If I'm not mistaken, "Aerospace" is for operational aircraft, for aircraft produced in some numbers, or for information/news about the aviation industry.

This clearly does not apply to cyclogyros. And you said it yourself, "we are mostly just talking about concepts and ideas" here, so it's projects all the way!!

I haven't seen too many postwar cyclogyro projects; but even if there are, what does it matter? It's easy to have two separate "Prewar cyclogyro projects" and "Postwar cyclogyro projects" topics (with links from one to the other) just like we did with rotorcraft, VTOL types and so forth.

Just the two cents of an ex-mod with an obsession for info in its proper place...

Mr. Josef Sabath designed a cylogyro in 1932;

1932 = Two paddle-wheels of helices and a motorcycle engine reportedly got this contraption going almost 150mph.
No other data found, but that alone is impressive, especially if it was in the air.
