In search of a color photo of the CW XF-87 "Blackhawk." -SP

Steve Pace said:I found it most interesting that Model 92 was reassigned to the proposed XA-43 aircraft; formerly XSB2C-2 Helldiver - that Model CW-29 was a proposed four-engine all-weather pursuit - that CW-29A is the XF-87 - that CW-29 had nothing to do whatsoever with the XA-43. Thanks so much AIM9XRAY. -SP
Hello Mark, your photos will be welcomed! Also dozens of interesting XP-87 (and mockup) photos on the Smithsonian website: http://edan.si.edu/slideshow/viewer/?eadrefid=NASM.XXXX.0359_ref1424XP-87 loading diagram from a recent collection donation. There are a number of photos of the mock up and prototype which I'll get around to scanning soon.
Enjoy the Day! Mark
Good Day All -Excellent - Thanks!! Mark
Why'd it lose out to the F-89? Lousy Westinghouse engines
